The bad news: Microsoft has dominated the OS and browser market for years, but it's a sad fact that many popular MS products are vulnerable to web based attacks and viruses. It gets worse if you don't keep current on the updates MS releases to plug new security holes. The good news: There are many viable alternatives to MS products available - many of which are free and generally safer than their MS counterparts. If fact, it's now getting to the point where you can replace MS Windows entirely without much trouble, though this may still be a little scary for some people.

I'm available if you need expert assistance with your computer, covering hardware and software upgrades, installing SP2 and ridding your system of spyware/viruses. I'm normally available for onsite support most days of the week (Monday - Thursday 9am-9pm).

My Experience:
I've been supporting PCs for over 15 years and have been a Microsoft support professional (MCSE+ certified) for 10+ years. You can view my resume if you wish. Most onsite visits last between 2-3 hours, depending on the health of your computer. There is a 1 hour minimum charge for onsite support.

Fee structure:
$30/hr for onsite home systems (within the I-275 loop)
$40/hr for onsite home systems (outside the I-275 loop)
$45/hr in onsite business/for-profit support
